Whitening is very popular and many
people are curious about the benefits and side effects of whitening.
Since each mouth is unique, we need to evaluate your teeth to recommend
a specific method. If your teeth are cracked, chipped, or discolored,
Dr. Weyandt may recommend restorative services, such as veneers or
bonding. If you want to whiten your teeth, we use the Zoom!T In-Office
Whitening System and Nite White in our office.

We follow a number of health and safety
guidelines. First, our office complies and exceeds OSHA standards
for safety. All of our staff also maintains their current CPR certification.
With every patient, we follow universal precautions. These safety
procedures are established by the Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention (CDC) and the American Dental Association (ADA). Under
these precautions, our dental team is required to use the appropriate
protective wear, such as gloves, masks and eyewear. After your visit,
we disinfect the operatory and sterilize all of the equipment. We
have a sterilization center where we can maximize efficient sterilization
and minimize the chance of contamination through human error. If
you have any questions, we would be happy to demonstrate our sterilization
procedures. You can also view the CDC Infection Control guidelines
online at www.cdc.gov.

Brushing cleans about 80% of your
teeth while flossing covers the remaining 20%. Although that seems
like a small percentage, this area is where the serious problems
originate. That's why Dr. Weyandt believes cleaning this area by
flossing is very important. In addition to flossing, she encourages
her patients use an electric toothbrush, such as a Braun Oral B or
Sonic Care toothbrush, which are more effective at plaque removal.

There are a variety of ways to improve
the appearance of your teeth without braces. We offer many cosmetic

your teeth to recommend a specific method. After listening to your
goals and concerns, Dr. Weyandt can suggest ways to help you straighten

My spouse snores and keeps me up at
night. I have heard a dentist might be able to prescribe an appliance
that prevents snoring. Can you help?
Certainly. We offer snore-guards,
a small appliance that holds the mouth and throat open while you
sleep and thus, prevents snoring. These devices are easy to use and
we custom fit them to ensure your comfort. If you or your spouse
snores, we suggest visiting us for an evaluation.

In a Smile Analysis,
we look at all the factors that compose a smile; these are the shape
of a smile, the size, the smile line, and the position of your teeth,
lips, and gums when you smile. We listen to what you want to accomplish
and any concerns you may have. Once we have this information, we
can provide a custom smile design.

What payment options do you offer?
In this day and age, we know deciphering your insurance benefits can
be confusing. That’s why we will file your claim for you, as
long as you pay for your co-pay at the time of your appointment. You
can pay for our services with cash or check. We also accept Master
Card, Visa, and Discover. Any amount not covered by your insurance
is your responsibility.
We feel, however, that your insurance should never dictate the quality
or timing of your treatment. If you have extensive or long term dental
care, our office offers financial assistance through Dental Fee Plan.
We are happy to help you with insurance concerns, so if you have any
questions, please contact us at 972-359-6611.
